It was New Years Eve 2019, and two old friends (Mark Ravenhill & Karl Housley), were sat having a drink together and pondering life. Mark has been running his own removals business in Sheffield since 2008, and decided it would be good to expand to Birmingham where Karl lives. Karl agreed what a brilliant idea this was, and hence, Moving Ewe was born!
So with the company being based in Birmingham, they can carry out local moves throughout the whole city, can cover all of the Midlands and are only a short drive away from London to help people relocating around the capital.
Moving Ewe help people relocate for all different circumstances. Whether its a 1 bedroom flat moving across the city, or a 5 bedroom house moving over long distance, their team members are highly skilled in the moving industry to take care of all aspects of moving with the minimum amount of fuss.
Commercial moving services are provided to businesses who wish to change premises or even relocate to another part of the same building. The team are prepared to work unsociable hours if neccessary to minimise any disruption to businesses.
During busy periods, many supermarket chains have been in touch to ask for our help relocating stock from one store to another. Particularly around Christmas and Easter where some stores have run out of a certain product and other stores have a surplus to requirements so we are able to distribute it accordingly.
We carry out all removal work using 3.5 Tonne LWB Luton vans. From experience we find a standard house move requiring 2 vans of this size works out at least half the price of what customers had been quoted from companies using larger trucks.
All our crew members are fully trained in manual handling and international packing techniques, so from start to finish, your whole moving process is in the best possible hands.

When customers choose Moving Ewe's premium packing service options, a detailed checklist is kept on the contents of each box, so you know exactly where to find everything when it comes to unpacking, but most importantly, everything will be labelled and taken to the correct room in your new place. This also makes sure that none of your belongings are left behind, and everything that is unloaded from the vans is checked with the customer and ticked off.
We come across heavy furniture on nearly all of our moving jobs, whether its an electric recliner settee or an old style washing machine with the breeze blocks in! All our trained movers will make light work of your heavy furniture, moving it through awkward environments, narrow corridors and up 5 flights of stairs!
Our team of removalists will protect all of your furniture, making sure it is safe during loading onto our vans. All sofas and armchairs are protected using heavy duty waterproof coverings, and mattresses are transported in heavy duty mattress bags with carry handles. Nothing is left to chance, ensuring all your treasured belongings are transported safely to their new home.
